The village of Calumet Park has recovered $3.2 million in legal fees that a longtime village attorney is alleged to have stolen. The village board on Thursday evening approved an agreement with the Greenberg Traurig law firm that resolves alleged improper billing by Mark J. McCombs, a former attorney and shareholder with the firm.

Polansky case taxing Milford ed board’s legal budget (Connecticut Post)

MILFORD — The Board of Education ’s legal bills are continuing to mount as it moves to fire suspended Superintendent Harvey Polansky . Already projected to be substantially over budget in that account, the board agreed 9-1 Monday night to hire a Bridgeport law firm to handle the termination hearing.
